Zhisu Technology’s 2025 Hangzhou Launch Event Concludes Successfully: Illuminating the Future of Intelligent Manufacturing with the Light of Innovation

2025-04-08

On April 7, Zhisu Technology hosted a forward-looking tech event in Hangzhou’s Binjiang District—the “Zhi Qi Binjiang · Shu Jian Future” themed launch ceremony— which concluded successfully. Leaders at all levels from Hangzhou’s Binjiang District, industry leaders, academia–industry–research experts, and supply-chain partners gathered to witness groundbreaking innovations in the CT medical and industrial sectors, as well as the historic moment of the exclusive licensing ceremony. The event not only showcased Zhisu Technology’s robust technological capabilities but also conveyed its ecological vision: “Empowering with Intelligence, Uniting Strength through Innovation.”

Opening Ceremony · The Pinnacle of Wisdom

Speech by Hu Yinfu, General Manager of Zhishu Technology: Technology-Driven, Win-Win Ecosystem

General Manager Hu Yinfu, under the theme “Intelligence Powers Binjiang, Vision Shapes the Future,” reviewed ZhiShu Technology’s six-year journey—from laboratory R&D to industrial implementation. He noted that the company has consistently placed technology at its core, breaking through foreign technology monopolies and developing multi‑domain solutions spanning healthcare, aerospace, and industrial manufacturing. This not only forged a dual‑helix pathway linking innovation and industry but also marked historic breakthroughs across three dimensions: bridging the gap between the lab and commercialization, ushering in a full‑lifecycle quality revolution through smart manufacturing, and achieving a transformative leap from follower to pioneer.

Hu YinFu, General Manager of Zhishu Technology, delivers a live speech.

Innovation in medical equipment stands at the forefront of technological breakthroughs and is, above all, an unbounded realm for the wise and the courageous. “Empowering our customers, empowering our employees, and making Zhisu a company worthy of respect” is Zhisu’s long-term vision for its future development—a shared conviction that unites all members of the Zhisu team.

General Manager Hu Yinfu concluded by saying: “In the face of the intense competition plaguing the X-ray tube industry, I’m sure our peers can relate all too well. To meet this challenge, Zhisu Technology has taken the lead in articulating three core visions: competing on technology, not price; prioritizing quality, not payment terms; and fostering openness, not barriers. Looking back, Zhisu Technology has broken through longstanding constraints and overcome one technical hurdle after another. Today, we are poised to drive the domestic CT X‑ray tube market toward the high end. And as we look ahead, we will continue to partner with like‑minded collaborators, wielding innovation as our sword to open up even broader horizons.”

For ZhiShu Technology, the more critical goal is undoubtedly to reshape the industry and assume a leadership role in both technology and the sector. The liquid‑metal bearing CT tube products currently on the market are comparable to imported counterparts in terms of quality. In terms of service life, the highest‑rated units have already exceeded 1.5 million exposure cycles, while average lifespans match those of imported products. Taking the ZS502L as an example, by the end of last year, the average cumulative exposure of in‑service tubes had reached 670,000 cycles, with over 90% still in active operation. Meanwhile, ZhiShu Technology is pushing into cutting‑edge, high‑end technologies to achieve technological leadership. In the ultra‑high‑end CT segment—128‑row systems and above—core technologies have long been monopolized by overseas firms, posing a major bottleneck that hinders the upgrading of China’s medical‑equipment industry. In December 2024, ZhiShu Technology successfully secured approval for a key national R&D program under the “Challenge‑Based Recruitment” initiative, focusing on developing a complete, independently owned intellectual‑property‑protected liquid‑metal bearing CT tube technology platform. As the project progresses, the company expects to launch related CT tube products next year, elevating domestically produced CT tubes to the global forefront of technological innovation. This milestone will also mark a formal breakthrough in China’s R&D of core CT‑tube components, moving beyond the traditional “import‑and‑replicate” approach and enabling the country to begin setting its own industry standards.

Message from the Special Guest: A Double Recognition of Both the Industry and Technology

At this event, distinguished guests—including Chairman Li Zhenlin of the Chinese Society of Radiological Technology and West China Hospital, Professor Li Yumin of the Components Branch of the Equipment Association, Zhang Lanyong, Chairman of Kunshan Yiyuan Medical Technology Co., Ltd., Yang Ping, General Manager of a business unit at Shaanxi Sire New Materials Co., Ltd., and Dr. Shi Mingqi of WISE GOLDEN GROUP LTD—along with other industry representatives and experts, all spoke highly of ZhiShu Technology’s innovative technological achievements. They further emphasized that the clinical application characteristics of its CT medical products will help advance the development of standards in the healthcare sector.

Major Release · Redefining Industry Standards

A range of groundbreaking X-ray tube products has been unveiled, elevating domestically produced CT tubes to the ranks of high-end offerings.

During the press conference, Zhishu Technology unveiled four X-ray tube assemblies for mid- to high-end CT scanners—models ZS702L/H847B, ZS712L/H485B, ZS352C/H485A, and ZS502L/H580C. In addition, the company operates a machining center dedicated to liquid-metal bearings, enabling end-to-end processing—from raw material intake to finished liquid‑metal bearings—thus keeping critical manufacturing steps firmly in-house. On the supply chain front, Zhishu has adopted a multi‑pronged strategy, strategically integrating domestic suppliers to achieve secure, stable, and sustainable supply‑chain development. The four newly launched products boast a 95% localization rate for their components. Zhishu remains committed to maintaining independent control over key components, thereby providing robust assurance for the reliable and stable operation of CT systems.
